Reparation of powder

High-purity alumina powder was prepared into powder material according to different product requirements and different molding process.It is no need to add binder if the powder raw materials will be formed by hot pressing process.

Forming method

The molding methods of alumina ceramic cones include dry pressing, Casting, extrusion, cold isostatic pressing, hot pressing and hot isostatic pressing.

Sintering technology

The dried cones are placed in high-temperature kilns (typically 1500–1700°C for alumina) and sintered for several hours. In addition to atmospheric pressure sintering,there are hot pressing sintering and hot isostatic pressing sintering and so on.

Refined process

Ceramic cones still need to be refined after sintering. Because of the high hardness of ceramic material, the wear-resistant plate needs to be refined with harder grinding and polishing brick material. Such as SiC,B4C or diamond, etc.
